YOU WILL NEED:

Detergent solution - One teaspoon of gentle detergent for washing woollens to 1/2 pint (1/4 litre) of warm water.
Vinegar - Pure white (not malt) vinegar. Two tablespoonfuls to one litre warm water
Ammonia - Clear household ammonia. Two tablespoons to one litre of warm water.
Blotting material - Clean white cloth or white paper towel.

CLEANING METHOD:

Apply detergent
Blot
Apply vinegar
Blot
Apply ammonia
Blot
Apply warm water
Blot
